It’s been a while now since that New Year’s weight loss resolution; how’d that go? A more enlightened approach may be just what you need. Deepak Chopra weighs in with some weight loss wisdom: 1) Experience the joy of eating or postpone eating until you can. 2) Always eat fresh foods with as many nutrients intact as possible. No leftovers for you. 3) Forget monitoring food groups and colors. Include six tastes (sweet, sour, salty and bitter, pungent, and stringent) for the most satisfying meals. 4) See cravings as a desire for satisfaction. Food is a crutch, what really fulfills you? 5) Consider less food as lighter and more energizing instead of a loss.
