Awareness vs. Emptiness

There’s some confusion about the differences between mindfulness and meditation. Both terms reference emotional health, but they have very different meanings.

Mindfulness means to develop awareness of your surroundings, your body, and your emotions.  We then become more accepting and kind to ourselves. We are open to whatever happens in the present. Mediation, on the other hand, is a technique helps quiet the inner voice in our heads and clears our minds.
