Communication in Marriage is Key for Sex After Kids

Parents far and wide are missing the energetic sex of their pre-child days. In fact, a recent survey by YourTango and Trojan asked 1,055 parents to respond to 35 questions about their sex life. Attempts to stay on schedule, and get a bit more sleep, were neck and neck to edge out sex play. Still, 40% of respondents said their communication improved after parenthood. Fortunately, good communication in marriage is exactly what is needed to make navigating the challenges of sex and parenthood manageable. Communication can ease the dissatisfaction and prevent misunderstanding, promote compassion, and support the desire to come up with a mutually fulfilling plan.
