Dealing With Disappointment

When we do something with an expectation of how we’d like it to turn out, we risk experiencing disappointment. When things don’t work out like we expected them to, we may feel a range of emotions from slightly let down to being angry. Our feelings may be aimed at ourselves or at others, or even at the universe in general. Disappointment is always a tough feeling to experience, but there are many ways to deal with it. Disappointment comes to us for a reason, and the more we’re able to accept how we’re feeling and process those feelings, the sooner we’ll move into new emotional territory.
