Fine Distinctions-Ones

According to the Enneagram, Ones have a few subtypes and may contain streaks, or wings, of various other types. Ones often are broken up into Self Preservation, Intimate, and Social subtypes. Each subtype highlights the way a One interacts with the world. For example, self-preservation subtypes are ultra reliable and super responsible, with much of their self worth being tied to getting things done. A variety of Enneagram wings can exacerbate or temper the tireless, somewhat perfectionistic nature of the One type. For instance, a One with a two wing is warmer with more interpersonal leanings, tending to be bossy but empathetic.
