Fives

The three main divisions of the Enneagram Fives include the self- preservation, intimate, and social subtypes.  Self-preservation Fives tend to be socially or physically withdrawn. Intimate Fives have very few friends, but are completely connected to those few through secrets and confidences. Still, they may be sneaky and lean toward fantasies of invisibility. They are usually extremely frugal and knowledgeable in obscure ways. Social Fives are paradoxically gregarious, and focused on knowing the right people.  They also tend to have an interesting combination of extroverted courage and stage fright. Fives also connect with various types like the Four wing, Six wing, Eights and Sevens.
