Fruits, Veggies, Happiness, and Energy

The University of Otago in New Zealand has recently conducted a study that claims that if you eat lots of fruits and veggies every day, you may be able to brighten your mood and increase your energy. Participants in the study recorded their daily food intake in an internet diary and also recorded how they felt. The results showed a positive correlation between good moods and a high intake of fruits and vegetables. No other foods were shown to have such a positive relationship between snacks and happiness. Researchers were even able to predict which participants would record good moods and high energy based on how many servings of fruits and vegetables they consumed.
