The sad truth is that divorce is uncomfortably common. Unfortunately, it is the children who are most often negatively affected by the parents’ split-up. In fact, they can become so upset about the divorce that they can start being depressed and have anger issues – symptoms which will no doubt alter their ability to perform well at school. Much of this negativity can be avoided if the parents are willing to tone down the hostility.
