Holiday Depression

The holidays are supposed to be a time of happiness, celebration, and family. However, for many this time of year can lead to depression because of trying to strive for perfection or reminders of loved ones who’ve passed.

How to protect your mind, body and relationships

Take time to work out or enjoy an indulgence. Don’t be afraid to say no to burdensome social obligations. Do make time for your children. Remind yourself of the positive things in your life during the holidays.

Also, have realistic expectations for the holidays. You don’t have to be a superhero!
