At-Home Mindfulness Practice Works
According to a review of studies, there appear to be benefits to practicing mindfulness programs at home. This is true even if those practicing do so for a shorter period of time than prescribed.
A typical meditation session should usually be 45 minutes long each day. Yet meditation students often reported doing so for 30 minutes daily. These students still found a reduction in stress levels, pain levels, and an improvement in mood and well-being. Researchers gathered this data from journals kept by students during 8-week long meditation courses.
