How Am I Doing?

According to Deepak Chopra, the most important question an adult can ask himself or herself is, “How am I doing?” Chopra contends that this question means different things at different times in your life. For example, a person in his 20‘s is asking about his own identity and what kind of person he is becoming. By the time a person reaches her 60‘s, she needs to decide whether her life is full of nostalgia and possible regrets or if the future is still ahead of her. For a 60-year-old, the the question of how-am-I-doing may be more of “How can I keep growing?”
