Being vulnerable is important for forming close relationships, but it can also be difficult for many people to do.
To be more vulnerable, admit when you are hurting and have an emotional need. Be OK with sharing your feelings with others. Tell your partner what you want and honestly share what you are thinking. You don’t have to be mean, but do be honest with them and yourself.
Finally, be present by making eye contact with your partner and listen to what they have to say.
