Have you ever heard of FOMO? It’s short for “Fear of Missing Out.” There are steps though that you can take to overcome this increasingly pervasive and distracting problem.
Take your time with tasks and activities. Try to slow down, be less reactive, and tell the difference between what’s really important, and what’s not. Enjoy pleasure but don’t be too distracted by it. Know you can’t fill every desire in life. Take things one step at a time. Try mindfulness meditation. Prioritize relationships over things. Enjoy each moment and try to feel more grateful.
