Increase Your Happiness: Upregulate Positive Feelings

It’s been a common practice for a while now to turn down negative emotions and thoughts. Why not also do the opposite and turn up positive emotions and thoughts? We can do this by choosing situations based on how we will feel. We can choose situations that will make us happy, not the ones that will cause stress. You can also modify situations by bringing in something that will add to your happiness. Focus on certain aspects of the situation, preferably the aspects that bring you the most joy. Focus on the positive in your life, and you will be happier.
