How to Make Self-Care a Priority

We all have lots of things in our lives that compete for our attention. However, these make it harder for us to practice the self-care we need.

First, turn off your electronic devices, or at least set them to silent mode. This can help free you from distractions. Next, practice “tough love” with family members who look to you to rescue them from their mistakes. Third, accept it when life derails all your plans and seek to set a future plan of fluid and routine self-care.
