Mindfulness and Your Commute
Your morning commute doesn’t have to drain your energy before getting to the office. Rather, it’s an opportunity to practice mindfulness.
Some recommended steps include:
- Alter your perspective on situations so that you and everyone else are, “sharing the same space.”
- Start your commute with the objective of practicing mindfulness.
- Be aware of your body and how it feels, where you are tense, etc.
- Be observant of your environment by using your five senses.
- Practice kindness to other travelers.
