Mindfulness and Your Commute

Your morning commute doesn’t have to drain your energy before getting to the office. Rather, it’s an opportunity to practice mindfulness.

Some recommended steps include:

  1. Alter your perspective on situations so that you and everyone else are, “sharing the same space.”
  2. Start your commute with the objective of practicing mindfulness.
  3. Be aware of your body and how it feels, where you are tense, etc.
  4. Be observant of your environment by using your five senses.
  5. Practice kindness to other travelers.
