Money and Love

One of the primary sources of conflict in a relationship is the issue of money – who earns it, how much to use for personal enjoyment, whether or not both partners hold the same views, etc.  One example of how this often plays out is when one partner works hard to plan and stick with a budget, while the other partner is more carefree and less serious.  Naturally, the one who’s serious about money is going to be frustrated and angry if their partner’s impulsive with their spending.  Working through this conflict will entail honesty from both parties.  Is the partner who’s more frivolous with their spending willing to learn about money and investments?
