Soothing Sore Muscles with Exercise
Have you ever struggled with having sore muscles after a long workout? Instead of having to get a rub-down or massage, you can also try exercising more. A recent study from Denmark tested 20 women who were sore from having performed a workout on their shoulders. Afterwards, some of the women received a massage on their shoulders and others were given some light exercises to do. Surprisingly, there was virtually no difference in pain reduction between the two methods. Another useful tip for sore muscles is drinking cherry juice, which has natural anti-inflammatory effects.
