Sugary Drinks Strike Again

What’s the matter with sugary drinks? They literally have no dietary benefit. Let us count the risks: 1) Research shows that regular ingestion heightens the risk of obesity. 2) The University of Minnesota School of Public Health found that women who drank sugary drinks not only had significantly higher risk of developing obesity, but that obesity leads to increased estrogen and insulin which leads to endometrial cancer. 3) Average Americans drink 355 calories per day. That is 22 teaspoons of sugar daily, primarily found in soft drinks which drive high numbers of insulin resistance and type-2 diabetes.
