Taking Care of Yourself During the Holidays

Although the holidays are supposed to bring joy, they are often a source of anxiety, stress, and even depression. Fortunately, there are ways to take care of yourself during this time.

Avoid isolating yourself and instead, seek out others. Talk about what you are feeling. Don’t over-commit yourself and know how to hold boundaries. Use meditation and mindfulness techniques to clear your mind and lower stress levels. Keep up your health regimen and remember to eat healthily. Make sure to get enough sleep at night and stay physically active.
