Things We Don’t Want to Do
Everyone has probably avoided taking on something that they’re certain is going to be difficult/dreadful/impossible – you supply the appropriate horrible adjective. We procrastinate until we finally find ourselves face-to-face with the inevitable, and we can no longer put off or delegate whatever it is that we don’t want to do. And often the most amazing thing happens: we complete the task and feel really good about our efforts and the outcome. In fact, we wonder why in the world we were so concerned. Facing something challenging can allow us to grow and learn instead of just being stuck in our comfort zone.
