Using Mindfulness to Cope with Summer Heat

Coping with the heat of summer is a common occurrence.  Yet we can use mindfulness to deal with summer heat.

Using mindfulness helps when it’s hot

Be aware of the physical sensations on your body, such as sweat and tingling, and try not to get sucked into how unpleasant it is. Are there any sensations that you find pleasant? Can you accept that you are experiencing these sensations and be OK with them? If you feel tired midday from the summer heat, listen to your body and rest.
