Using Mindfulness to Treat Worry

Mindfulness is a way of life for many people. Yet, for those new to the concept, it can be helpful to introduce mindfulness as a skill.

For example, with a patient that struggles with worry, you can use mindfulness as a tool to deal with a specific problem. Take one of your worries and mindfully deconstruct it.  Is the worry a “fact” or is it just something that you tell yourself?
