A study on rats performed by researchers at Wayne State University revealed that inactivity could lead to grave brain alterations in humans. Sedentary rats developed tentacle-like brain neurons that could very likely increase blood pressure and heart problems over time. This study suggests that lack of aerobic exercise is dangerous to our health on a very basic level. Our bodies developed over eons with activity; to deprive it of that activity is clearly damaging. A healthy diet and exercise must be incorporated daily to avoid bodily deterioration.
