Why are some people just able to roll with the punches, when it comes to situations with unknown outcomes, and you can’t? They seems to never worry, but you can’t stop thinking about the matter. Could it be that you have high “Intolerance of Uncertainty” (called IU)?

Some have proposed that IU lays at the base of anxiety disorder, particularly generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). Those with GAD spend unhealthy amounts of time worrying about something they cannot control, most often believing that the outcome will be bad.
