Help for women who suffer from low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety

If you are a woman and suffer from low self-esteem, a new study has found that group therapy may be helpful in improving self-worth and other related emotional health issues.  Researchers recently used a set of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) workbooks with a group of 37 women who had been identified as having low self-esteem. The participants in the therapy group were identified using the Robson Self Concept Questionnaire (RSCQ). The group met for weekly two-hour sessions for eight weeks. According to study results, participants showed remarkable improvements not only in self-esteem but also in decreased levels of depression and anxiety.
