How to Support Your Microbiome

You have over 500 species of microbes living in your body. These organisms help support healthy gut function.

To support these microbes, eat the right foods. Foods rich in fiber can help. These include beans, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and spinach. Fermented foods also are good for your guts microbiome. Also, consider including naturally fermented sauerkraut, miso kimchi, and coconut yogurt to your diet. A probiotic supplement can help too.

Finally, avoid eating foods with lots of sugar, that are highly processed, or contain hormones and steroids.
