How to Move More and Sleep Well

To achieve this balance, start by getting off the couch and walking. Your body needs to move, even if you are struggling with an illness. If walking isn’t possible due to illness or surgery, try standing. Even standing for a few minutes a day can preserve muscle tone that would otherwise be lost. After physical activity, rest so your muscles can recover. Finally, get enough sleep at night so your body can recharge.
