The Problem of Social Isolation

According to the American Psychological Association, social isolation is becoming a public health problem. It could even outpace obesity.

Loneliness Hurts

Currently,  over 42 million Americans that are over 45 years old struggle with social isolation and loneliness. Also, over half of the U.S. population is unmarried and lives alone.

The problem? Human beings need human connection to maintain our well-being. Research shows that unaddressed loneliness actually leads to premature death.
