Ruminating, or obsessive thinking is actually a common trait for all humans. However, when it becomes a problem, it can become a sign of a much bigger issue.
If you are ruminating so much that it interferes with your daily life, it’s time to seek help. For instance, are you unable to get to sleep, maintain a positive mindset, or feel at ease because of your ruminating? The mindset can be a contributor to a host of mental health problems, including depression, PTSD, OCD, and eating disorders to name a few.
