The Enneagram: Style Six - The Loyalist - Gabriele Hilberg, Ph. D., MFT

Number Six on the enneagram list features those who live in a world of danger. The Sixes who run to meet danger are classified as “Counterphobic” and include many who have performed heroic feats of bravery. Those who run away from dangerous situations are conversely labeled “Phobic.” Healthy Sixes are the ones who keep family, office, and community running smoothly. They are charming and diplomatic and work towards win-win situations. Unhealthy Sixes can become paranoid. They may follow well-established traditions and comfortable concepts without thought or question. They control others by doubting and second-guessing all decisions.
